After a 2-year absence, the Kosher Food & Wine Experience (Kfwe) showcases the latest and greatest in kosher wines and creative cuisine.

(JUNE 23, 2022, London/Tel Aviv)– The world’s largest public extravaganza of kosher food and wine is back with a triumphant “L’chaim!” this spring after a 2-year hiatus due to the coronavirus. The annual Kosher Food & Wine Experience (KFWE) continues to be the world’s most popular kosher food event, attracting thousands of restaurateurs, chefs, caterers and gourmets hungry for the latest and greatest in kosher wines and cuisine.

Royal Wine Corporation. through its Israeli and British distributors, Zur Agencies and Kedem Europe, respectively, spearhead the highly anticipated comeback of these two events on May 30 in Tel Aviv, Israel and June 21 in London. More than 240 wines from Israel, France, Italy, Spain and the UK were tasted, and the guests had a unique opportunity to meet winemakers and learn the history of each bottle.

Both shows featured rare premium wines as well as affordable everyday wines, sparkling wines, whiskeys, French and Italian liqueurs and more.

Over 800 KFWE guests enjoyed an exceptional selection of kosher wines and spirits at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane. More than a dozen Israeli wineries showcased their latest wines, including boutique wineries such as Domaine Du Castel, Yatir Winery, Flam Winery, Jezreel, Matar by Pelter and Psagot.

At KFWE in London, Royal Wine and Kedem Europe presented a new line of kosher wines from Burgundy produced by Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi. The lineup includes three 2020 vintages: Gevrey-Chambertin Villages, Chambolle-Musigny Villages and Beaune 1er Cru. Royal Wine has not offered high quality red Burgundy wines since 2004.

“As the kosher market has evolved and improved over the past 18 years, we believe that many connoisseurs of fine kosher wines will particularly appreciate these fine and complex Pinot Noirs,” said Gabe Geller, Director of Communications at Royal Wine. “They will sell for $100-$130. Royal also presented Laufer’s Select Tokaji Late Harvest and Tokaji Ice wines in London, high quality dessert wines from Hungary’s famous Tokaji region. Both wines will cost $45,” he added.

Along with unlimited wine tastings and whiskey masterclasses, the London event included the legendary buffet from catering director Arie Wagner. He and his team served hot and cold dishes, including turmeric-infused cauliflower with tahini, hummus, and pomegranate seeds; Baba Ganush with cashew nuts; Beef carpaccio with truffle oil and fresh truffle; poke salmon and tuna; pulled beef arancini; minced meat from salted beef; and dairy-free desserts such as tiramisu, Eton mash and creme brulee.
