Dave and Buster added several summer specialties to the food and drink menu:

Shrimp Avocado Stack: Citrus marinated shrimp, pickled cucumber, mango, pico de gallo pineapple, fresh diced avocado, cilantro, crispy tortilla chips.

Spicy taco burger: Mexican spiced burger patty, spicy mini tacos, manchego and cheddar cheeses, lime ancho mayonnaise, lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado, crispy tostada, brioche bun garnished with spicier mini tacos. Served with tortilla chips and white queso.

BBQ Chicken Tortilla: Honey Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Manchego Cheddar Cheeses, Grilled Chicken Breast, Red Onion, Carolina Barbecue Spicy Drizzle, Cilantro.

Fried Cinnamon Crispy Ice Cream: Cinnamon and brown sugar ice cream topped with crunchy cinnamon toast flakes, topped with a dash of Mike’s hot honey.

$1 will be donated to Make-A-Wish for every purchase of the new dessert, according to Jarred Hillard, CEO of the recently opened arcade that also features new summer games.

There are three new drinks: spiked cherry limeade, red orange paloma, and non-alcoholic black cherry limeade.

Grill and Chili Bar added “3 for me” feature. Get a drink, appetizer and main course from $11. Pay a little more to get Classic Marg, Dip Trio or Cheesecake. There are 14 main course options, from Cajun chicken pasta and asada carne with cilantro and lime to fajitas and quesadillas.

It sounds like a fun night out if you can snag a seat! K Restaurant coordinating a wine dinner on June 28 at Tina’s farm near the Baltic. Hop on a shuttle to the Queen City Bakery and enjoy dinner with the owner of one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious sparkling wines. This is a five course meal and seating is limited. Fernson Brewer Co. there’s a new mimosa seltzer just released today. It’s called Daylight Delight and is a “jam filled with real fruit and a sweet, sunny taste.” It’s around for a limited time.

DaDa Gastropub has a new menu with 13 new items. They include halibut and fish tacos, buffalo sliders, spring rolls, and surf and peat burritos.

Dinner Birdie by Chef Janie & Co. offers a couple of retail hours to its food ordering service. Check out the kitchen at 3638 S. Southeastern Ave. from noon to 2 pm on Fridays. Hi Hi has partnered with Headlights Theater to promote Friday’s season premiere with a new cocktail called Headlights. It features Laird’s apple brandy, Rittenhouse rye, Velvet Falernum, Suze, a French brand of bitters, bananas, acid and fire. We are not kidding.

Speaking of fun drinks, Italian cream soda is back in style. Josiah with a variety of fruit flavors.

Aunt Jay’s American Soul Food Lennox will start new opening hours and a new menu on June 21st. The previous menu from Tuesday to Saturday will be offered by reservation only, takeaway or with the option of a personal chef for private dining on site and is limited to five or more guests. Call 605-409-8008 to place an order. Saturday nights will still feature live music and a soul food dinner menu with beer and wine. The following events will take place on June 25, July 2 and 4 from 17:00 to 20:00. From Tuesday to Friday, the restaurant will be open from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and will serve Cherry Bean coffee and Royal Bake Shop donuts while supplies last. Starting at 8am, it will be serving soul food brunch served in the cafeteria with an ever-changing menu including rustic ribs, chicken and waffles, breakfast burritos, and other fun and hearty meals.

Wagu Burger, located in downtown Fernson, has added locally-produced quarter-pound beef hot dogs to the menu. Get Wagoo burger toppings on a hot dog (Bahn Mi dog, anyone?), as well as chili cheese and Chicago-style hot dogs.

Immersion, the pop-up kitchen in The Gaslight Lounge, adds pop-ups elsewhere. The crew served food at a music festival last weekend and will be at the Highball on East Eighth Street from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday. They will serve three burgers – The Dive, Green Chile and Spicy BBQ – lamb and beef chizlik, Philly cheesesteak, French fries and cheese curd. ‘

Co-owner Allen Wright said they added a mobile trailer to increase the restaurant’s visibility and it’s a good source of extra income during quiet periods at The Gaslight. Upcoming events include a couple of shows at the WoodGrain Brewing Co. in July, the Sioux City Music Festival in late July, and Dell Rapids Food Truck Night in August. Seafood and Soul Cuisine of Felicia brings a taste of New Orleans to the Gift & Thrift parking lot at 10th Street and Bunson Avenue on June 18 and 19 from 1pm to 5pm. On the menu will be bowls of pineapple, fried catfish beating, Cajun beating, Hennessey wings and jambalaya. To pre-order, call 504-441-9894.

Crawford Bar & Grill began to provide food Coffee house Kingbird in Brandon. Takeaway offerings, which are available daily, include salads, sandwiches, and side dishes such as pasta salad and potato salad. In addition, there are a couple of soups that are warmed up in the kitchen,” said owner Michael Gross. Offers include a club croissant, sirloin sandwich and mufuletta, as well as a Caesar salad with chicken, Cobb salad and one salad with salmon, Fuji apple and strawberries.

Crawford delivers goods at least once a day. The coffee shop, which serves beer and wine, also started family karaoke nights on Friday. Then Crawford’s offerings will be available and Fred’s Franks will likely sell its gourmet hot dogs, Gross said.

New menu Summer Vibes on hype designed for seafood lovers. It includes a basket of street corn prawns, walleye po-boi and Cajun-style walleye tacos.

Chef Ellen offers a summer bento box program for children with breakfast and lunch. Emails must be ordered by 6:00 pm Friday for the following week and can be picked up on Sundays from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm or anytime on Monday or Tuesday. Main courses include French toast, egg casserole, a box of meat and cheese crackers, yogurt parfait, a salad box, and a selection of vegetables or sweets.
