Bravo has confirmed a comeback below deck spin off Mediterranean sea below deck when the seventh season wraps up filming in Malta. A popular reality show that chronicles the yacht’s crew during the eight-week charter season, the new season will premiere on July 11 with Captain Sandy at the helm of a brand new yacht called House. 50 meters House was built by the Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2017 as a “home away from home” for its owner. She was one of the first superyachts of this size to feature a hybrid propulsion system, making her 48% more efficient than other 50m yachts, and the first diesel-electric motor yacht to appear on the below deck.

The yacht was started on speculation and construction was already underway when her owner joined the project. Houselines were designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and inspired by another Heesen building, a 50m Sibel. The vertical bow serves the dual purpose of helping the yacht cut through the waves while also creating more room inside for crew accommodation. In order not to exceed 500 gross tons, Omega created walk-through decks with cut-out bulwarks, offering panoramic sea views from each of the two saloons.

It is also available for purchase at a price of 29,500,000 euros.

The interior was started to specification but was not to the taste of the owner, who brought in designer Cristiano Gatto to refine the design. The new brief was for a modern, comfortable interior; the key word was simplicity, not minimalism.

House can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins: a full-beam master stateroom is on the main deck, while a full-beam VIP stateroom, two double cabins and two twin cabins are on the lower deck. The décor takes inspiration from the owner’s waterfront property with a contemporary “Ibiza style” feel. Low rise sofas are featured throughout in a palette of white, black, gray and deep red.

The sun deck will be a popular spot for guests during the series. There’s a sit-down bar shaded by a hardtop, as well as a Jacuzzi and a pole dance. Four sun loungers can be found aft, under which yoga mats are hidden, and a projector and screen can turn the deck into an open-air cinema.

Another place for noisy evenings is the sky lounge, which is essentially an extension of the outer deck with bean bags, couches and teak flooring. The space is served by a bar and is a popular place to relax in the cool air and take in the view. Alternatively, you can close the doors to the aft deck, remove the furniture, add a mirror ball and a smoke machine, and this area will become a special party room.

More fun can be found at Houseon the bow deck, in a telescoping seat that lifts from the bow, providing a continuous 360-degree view. It can even be used in the process if the conditions are right.

Captain Sandy will be joined by a returned below deck cast and deckhand Mzi “Zi” Dempers, as well as a trio of new department heads.

House currently available for charter with Burgess starting at $245,000 per week. She is also listed for sale with Burgess and Christie Yachts at a price of €29,500,000.
